When calling to book an appointment with one of our Doctors, you may be offered a telephone consultation or be referred to one of our other clinicians, (Pharmacist, Physiotherapist, Practice Nurse, Paramedic) depending on the nature of your ailment as well as Face to Face appointments. The Doctor will call you at the approximate time of your appointment on the telephone number provided. If, after the telephone consultation, the Doctor decides that you need to be seen, they will arrange for you to come into the surgery to be assessed.

Appointments can be made with one of our Nursing Team for dressings, vaccines that are included on the national immunisation programme and cervical screening. Health Care Assistants are doing blood tests and ECGs at either Surgery.

Patients who have appointments with a clinician are able to come into the Surgery and check themselves in via the touch screen. Please use the hand sanitisation facilities in the corridor and you can wear a face covering if you wish.

Please place prescription requests in the post box outside or urine sample in the box provided in the foyer (Remember we cannot accept urine samples unless the Doctor has asked you to bring one in).

If you have respiratory and/or coronavirus symptoms, please do NOT attend the surgery, but contact NHS 111 online or, if you don’t have access to the internet, by telephone. We cannot provide testing and you do not need a letter from your GP for your employer.

Do not go to your GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital if you think you may have coronavirus or any symptoms of coronavirus. Stay indoors and avoid close contact with other people.

Visit 111 Online for advice or call 111 if you need to speak with someone regarding your condition.

Please be aware that there are times during the normal working week in the afternoons when only one Surgery is open. If you telephone a Surgery and it is closed the telephone system will automatically take you to the surgery that is open. Appointment requests and enquiries can be directed to either Surgery – both sites can access and see all records.

You can request repeat prescriptions online at anytime via Patient Access, once you have registered for the service. Click here for more information.
